Also, users in windows can open WMV easier, just with one click on the gallery... However to open the MP4 you either need to download the file to your computer, or do some dilligent configuration.
Of course if you offer MP4 in very good quality, webmasters will need to re-encode to WMV.
Just one question, if I buy some content, do you currently deliver both formats? Or you currently deliver only WMV and you are looking to switch to MP4?..

i offer currently both but when i do custom encoding or deliver by FTP on request, i do MP4 only and not a single client has asked for WMV in the last 2 years
we use the H264 codec for MP4 and our files are ready for streaming - and yeah, if you really would need WMV, you could still re-encode them from the MP4 files of course
