Escorpio made the point here that slapping on the ass could be construed as sexual assault. Perhaps he has a point there. I would also suggest that the cop had the option to explain to the mother that her child is going to make things worse and that he would be forced to arrest both of them. All we know so far is that he pulled his ray gun on a 12 year old girl.
BTW if my child boy or girl is acting a fool i would much rather a slap on the ass, or arm, or leg so they know they are out of line. Skipping all the way to tase them is an idiotic response.
