A buddy of mine told me once that he doesn't trust ANY white man. He figured all white people looked at him differently and talked behind his back the second he was gone. To his credit, he rethought his position when I took GREAT offense to it and said something like, "Okay maybe not ALL white people, but most". I told him I felt bad for him living his life thinking that way of everyone and told him the same thing...it's his loss, not mine. I feel bad for you too. "Mammy" used in reference to a female is nothing but race based.
Mammy is a reference to a black female who is enslaved to provide breast milk to white children. It is disputed if the "mammy" is fictional or real, but it's always racist.
