I work for them now trying to market it. Chris neglected it for quite some time and I'm helping work through a lot of those kinks right now before we full blown hit the market. I've mostly only contacted people I know on a personal level about promotion. But to answer your question, yes the sites still update and the ones that didn't, we will let affiliates know. All of them are slated to get new content shot, though. Chris has other avenues making him plenty of $ to keep the program afloat.

The conversion ratio is surprisingly good. I am going to go through and write down notes for improving this with what we've got now this week actually. Normally, I would push for tours similar to what Psuedonymous has, but these convert just as well as his and other models do for me on my affiliate traffic.

Her husband, her, + me, but it makes money. Right now, the program pays my salary and Chris' gas money to get to the bank. Working to grow that now.
I suspect this is the feeling of many veteran affiliates. At first glance, I would have your same assumptions and not really push it as hard as I would other sites like yours, so this tells me we need to do something to counter that assumption.
The only reason we haven't spammed GFY to death besides how distasteful it is is because I'm working to get some in house sales in to help support any advertising campaigns or anything else we may decide to do in the future. In short, give us a nice cushion to fall back on on the days affiliates aren't pushing galleries, etc. This includes teaching the girls to promote themselves well also. This is exactly what I did with Gisele and it obviously worked, but she's got insanely good looks on her side.
One thing that I would agree with is your notion that under promoted usually means better sales, ESPECIALLY with solo models, is certainly true. Our tours are intended to look like the model or their not tech savvy boyfriend/husband put them up. To guys like us, we think "um.... what 3rd grader did that?" but the data is saying it works.
I am going to link Chris to this thread so he can chime in personally, but I will say the main reason he approached me is because I have experience with solo girl programs not only as an affiliate, but running the pay site side also. Right now we are taking baby steps to avoid running out of money/resources and going under.
