If they finished that show in anyway with Walt alive all the fans would've assumed there was going to be a movie or spin off. People on Twitter claiming he isn't really dead. They got medical proof that Walts wound wouldn't have killed him that fast and the police could have gone back and helped him. Vince confirmed that was it, Walt is dead and there is no more. Just to clarify my scenario:
He starts finishing the cook, police arrest him while he cooks and he dies (in the car for example).
