...so after some industrial espionage and talking to a few webmasters, it seems that $25 per 1 minute of decent non exclusive 3D animation would be doable.
however, the price of exclusive or semi-exclusive content would depend greatly on the complexity of the animation and the level of quality desired... could be anywhere from $50-100 per minute... or even more.
sounds about right?
