This again is nowhere near the same thing as the commission of a violent crime that is sexual in nature (the violence also has to give you an erection and enable you to get off sexually), which are often ONLY committed by psychopaths.
To insist that a rape occurs due to a woman's physical appearance/manner of dress being a primary factor, also means that you or any person here is capable of throwing a woman down and in the eyes of her pain and fear and physical resistance/struggle, getting sexually turned out and ejaculating as a result of the intercourse. So unless you , or anyone here is prepared to argue "i too, am capable of rape should the right women and right circumstances arise), then the argument is either false or you are capable of violent rape for sexual gratification.
Additionally, "rape" needs to be defined. A hot chick passed out at a party is not the same as a provocatively dressed chick walking into a shitty neighborhood. A girl that claims she halfheartedly refused her boyfriend or said "no" but he continued and with someone she's had sex with 1000 times and gave no real further resistance or indication or resistance or complaint during the act would be another kind. Though we might agree they might all be "rape", the motives and psychology of the rapist are likely quite different in each scenario.
We are all victims of our own brains tendency and preference towards dichotomous, "black/white", "right/wrong", "good/bad" and particularly "cause/effect" (as the simplistic dipshit addressing me above is using) type thinking which lends itself poorly to discussion of complicated, multifaceted issues.
