because 'Merica is obsessed with black and white, constantly. Listen to any black standup comic - 90% of the jokes are black vs white. They are trying to be lighthearted, but constantly concentrating on skin color is what they do, the media does it also all the time, etc. It actually makes the people also obsess over skin color. Like when obama became president. It wasn't news that the elected president was a democrat instead of a republican, it wasn't news what his political agenda was, the only news from American media that spread across the globe was that 'it's the first black president'. That's it. Obsessed over skin color much? Hell yes.
