Not at all. My problem is I have to make lists of things I would "like" so my family can buy me stuff for Christmas. All of these items have to be small things, under $40. So for the four months before Christmas I don't buy myself stuff I normally wouldn't think twice about. In the end, I put off buying small stuff for four months - a DVD, a mouse for my laptop - and in the end didn't get them so I need to go out and buy them all at once.
Just kind of pointless.
