He's traced my mother's side back to the 1400s...and his own side to the early 1700s.
The only eye-opening discovery was learning Thomas Alva Edison is a distant relation on his side of the family.
I definitely inherited the Edison genes - I can flip a lightswitch on and illuminate a room.
