If you think about it... If you can get them to admit it and then publish the audio, you control the story. If you report it to police, police investigate and then make an arrest, all that the headlines will read is "accused claims alleged victim is a pill popping drug addict who threw herself at me day after day". Regardless, just the audio and admission effectively ruins their lives with the victim being put on trial as what usually happens.
Mission accomplished - good for her.
