I might be wrong but why not shell out a few bucks and see. I chose many in the prepper type theme as those guys tend to spend a lot of extra cash on things.

i would say you are wrong. i buy good .com's every single day. i even pointed out that domains you registered in these extensions weren't even taken in .com. the biggest problem is everyone who is buying these is doing so hoping to resell them not develop them, so they will go nowhere. if no one has ever wanted soldierguru.com, why would anyone want soldier.guru?
