These are actually the top traffic referrers to some of the most popular xxx sites (PinSex.com, Sex.com, Beeg.com)

What is the concept behind it? Are these large networks of sites that trade traffic with each other, and "build it up" to the main sites (something like I traffic trading triangle, possibly)? Do you know how this works?
