Religion gives the weak willed a set of simple pre-determined answers to the things they are unable to deal with. It almost seems that the more ridiculous you make your belief system, the more it soothes the stupid. This makes life easier for them, it simplifies their troubles, and explains their worries away. Then, when the weight of the world is removed they feel better and declare that they have found happiness and enlightenment.

Tell me Donny, when did your demons get too much for you ? When did you surrender logic and reason to the warm fuzzy simplistic world that can be explained in a few catch all phrases ? When did you decide that you would like it all laid out, instead of thinking for yourself ?
