If Russia loses it's because Putin chose to make it look like they weren't trying to take Ukraine. It's obvious to the world that he wants Ukraine, but his stupid Russian brain doesn't realize how transparent his ham-fisted sneaky Russian bullshit moves are.
If you want to invade, then invade and absorb Ukraine and take the consequences of being ostracized by the world. He wants it both ways. You can't be Saddam Hussein, and still play in the sandbox with the other kids.
