The problem is, there is no economic gain for helping African countries. It's not a black vs white thing, it's a money thing. If there were money to be made, then you can bet your ass the west, China and even Russia would be assisting African countries with their woes.
The problem is Africa has shown it's self to always be a bottomless bucket. It doesn't matter how much money is pumped into the shit hole nations that make up Africa they always remain shit holes where there is no economic gains to be realized out side of supplying them with guns and ammunition.
Added to this there is "always" some issue in Africa which requires them to be bailed out.. Ie the bottomless bucket.
Meanwhile the middle east is also a shit hole, however the difference is the MI has oil and that oil makes it economically viable for the rest of the world to pump money into it and prop up the dictators to secure financial stability in order to do business there.
This is just the facts, like it or not but it's the reason the rest of the world has kind of ignored the Ebola problem. It's because the world has become conditioned to seeing these problems in Africa as a normal thing.
