Networked Audio Output Solution?

Ok so here's what i have. like 7 or 8 different computers throughout the house.. and a nice stereo system with speakers throughout the house, etc..etc.

What i'd like to do is have some sort of networked "audio receiver" that can receive a stream from any one of the computers on our internal home network.

So say i wanna listen to a playlist that is on my computer.. well i hit play, and the output goes to the networked reciever which then acts as a normal piece of the stereo system.

Is there anything out there like this? I've seen a couple of networked recievers that can store all your mp3's etc..etc.... but thats just not what i'm looking for cause we want the music to stay on each individual user's computer.

If you have any info on a solution i'd be interested
