Im guessing after him being called out over and over (and that not doing the trick) its safe to say the money is gone.
Time = $
The time you've wasted trying to get paid, or make him look bad etc.....you might have been able to make that money back.
Its a good lesson....dont prepay, lol. At least it didn't cost you a lot of $$$
