iVentureCapital GmbH acquires Dating Cafe
As of November 1st Björn Walter and Marco Bollow will jointly lead the online dating platform Dating Cafe.
Hamburg, 21st of November 2014: The first-ever German online dating platform, DatingCafe.de has a new owner. Hamburg-based iVentureCapital GmbH, which also owns TrafficPartner, has acquired the online dating platform, which was already founded in 1998, from meinestadt.de GmbH, which in turn had acquired DatingCafe.de in 2008.
Growth of memberships with consistent high service level
The new proprietor will continue business operations with the existing team and emphasizes interest in further growth in volume and brand awareness. The duo at the helm consists of Björn Walter who has successfully lead Dating Cafe since 2010 as CEO and online dating expert Marco Bollow. Walter will spearhead operational business whilst Bollow will address strategic issues, marketing and investor relations.
