Tubes need to produce their own content otherwise their business model will slowly deteriorate over time. Just acquiring old content will not cut it (in their opinion). Remember that Mindgeek has HUGE overhead.
Most production companies are doing less and less shoots so it makes sense for them to acquire/partner with a production house that is releasing 40 new scenes every week.
It will be interesting to see how long-term both parties benefit. Congratulations!
