Yes there is a way, you just have to ask. Who did you contact? Email me and I will get it sorted out.
The reason we put canonical on all new WLs is to protect our other WLs that rank well. We have to be cautious with letting any new, potentially spammy domains get indexed as their own unique sites.
Knock on wood, we're one of the only cams WLs that still ranks.
