Who's 'evading"? I clearly said
CONSERVATIVES fought against civil rights. That is a plain fact. Those conservatives could have been either Republicans or Democrats or whatever else.
For someone who claims to dislike both parties, you sure get hung up on "Republicans" vs "Democrats".
