AmeriCommerce is where BigCommerce customers are going to since BC will not get with the times and actually offer what the customers want. AC was recently purchased by CapOne and a bunch of fundage put into the platform to make it the nest solution.
I used Magento when I first started and that system used massive amounts of server resources to run that I had to move one of our stores twice before I switched to ZenCart for awhile but it to was dated. BigCommerce has promised alot but delivered features that customers would never of asked for, their CEO took his Golden JetPack and said adios a few months ago. It is a tough market right now so you just have to go with your gut and give it a try.
