Whether or not to ask the hottest girl in school out on a date in the 5th grade. Once
I made that decision and realized bad things don't happen whether she says yes or no, and the idiots afraid to ask her are much worse off than the people who do take a calculated risk (whether it succeeds or fails)... It set up my mindset for the rest of my life.
