for sure male celebs get made fun of (and one could perhaps make the argument that suburban wanna be-thuglets have it coming) but there aren't whole magazines devoted to unflattering paparazzi pics (the worse the better) of them, endless parsing of who looks old/ugly/fat/too skinny blah blah blah
maybe I just haven't been exposed to it cuz I try to avoid all that ish but I can't really recall seeing the appearances of male stars scrutinized and torn apart for sport in the way that females are
I don't really care either way, I just don't get off on that sort of thing
