To me it makes sense that they would keep the identity of the winners at the first stage partially anonymous (to protect their privacy, etc) and then potentially later on give them the option to reveal themselves and/or broadcast a thank you note/conduct a short interview.
tl;dr version
I don't suggest theorizing/questioning the legimitacy of the process. The show ended two days ago. Everyone's traveling, catching up from shows, etc.
