I have this douchebag I work around that has spread lies about me they are so bad other people believe his lies and has had some people try to physically hurt me. He started rumors that aren't true and are too disgusting to repeat. My reputation as a person around people at work is deteriorated because of his false accusations. He made up these lies because He pissed me off and I threatened to go to his wife about him flirting with other women which is 100% true. So he made up some unbelievable shit which is not true to smear my name to make me look like a disgusting freak.

I know Defamation Of Character is a serious thing and people get sued because of it. I would have a very hard time finding witnesses that he started these lies about me because the people I work around aren't the type of people that like to tell on other people. How do I prove it in court so this guy can be prosecuted or sued in a court of law for Defamation Of Character?
