Nope. It's not just a simple buffet and it has nothing to do with yours in casino (at least those I've seen in Vegas). The main difference with your buffet is the assortment and quality of products. These are not just salads, but hot food as well (various potato meals, meat meals, fish meals, soups and kashas).
This is a real restaurant with waiters etc. But it's also a fast food too. In traditional Russian "трактир" all food is already cooked, so you don't have to wait for it, and if you're in hurry, you can pay once and eat everything immediately (as much as you want). If you have more time, you can spend it in the bar. If you want to eat capitally, you'll be served by waiters and the food will be cooked specially for you (the assortment will be much wider of course). And course you can mix all 3 ways of the food consumption - everything depends on your free time and wallet size

You can choose a smorgasbord and order a beer/vine/vodka/wherever from a waiter. No lines like in crustyburgers, no noise, no people constantly walking back and forth, no smell of puke like in KFC etc...
P.S. All the pics above made in the same fast food network.
