Consider the source.
Maybe, these protesters (instigators) last week in Phoenix should buy a ticket to Damascus and join the blood war there ... They are just playing into the hands of the terrorists and creating more fear and possible retribution.
Religious intolerance hate crimes;

Quote:
Hate Crime

Hate crime is the violence of intolerance and bigotry, intended to hurt
and intimidate someone because of their race, ethnicity, national origin,
religious, sexual orientation, or disability. The purveyors of hate use
explosives, arson, weapons, vandalism, physical violence, and verbal
threats of violence to instill fear in their victims, leaving them vulnerable
to more attacks and feeling alienated, helpless, suspicious and fearful.

Others may become frustrated and angry if they believe the local
government and other groups in the community will not protect them.
When perpetrators of hate are not prosecuted as criminals and their acts
not publicly condemned, their crimes can weaken even those
communities with the healthiest race relations.

Let's not turn America into a war against a religion. Those protesters in Phoenix are little better that those in your video of Syrian rebels -- they are both an armed mob using intimidation. The only thing these sorts of armed protests create are new terrorists, or new Jihadists, depending on your point of view.

You don't have a First Amendment right to threaten or cause duress to a person ''because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religious, sexual orientation, or disability.''

How do you think this armed protest is being propagandized in the Islamic World? They can point to armed Americans threatening their religious freedom and call for more Jihad. This just becomes and endless cycle -- the past 14+ years prove that. You want another 100 years war?

Cut off the head of the serpent to kill it don't chomp at the tentacles because they are the lowest hanging fruit.
