There is a reason for popup blockers. Surfers feel out of control when a windows action happens without their input.

1) Will you lose your surfers trust?

2) Will the surfer trust clicking on a windows link that has no navigation?

If you want to do stable, long term business, you create a foundation that includes trust. Surfers don't trust sites with popups/popunders, especially when they have AdBlock installed
