I don't sell mine either (and I have 88 Members Areas now).
The overall value of the lifetime of a customer is higher when you factor in cam sales, dating, other paysite sales, etc. But the main reason your logic is flawed is because Members get bored, even with the most outstanding and jam-packed Members Areas. Sure, some 'settle in" but many get restless and are always looking for something new to focus on.
This is why rebills are generally around 2-3 months.
