Thinking about it, as a family man I had no options - and it did good to my life. It is healthy to have an office with skilled and good guys and good era. If you have No annoying member in your team than you can't even compare productivity for the two ways: almost everyday I learn something valuable from my colleagues and vice versa. I feel fine at home with my family, and feel fine when I arrive in the office as well.
Two years ago I planned and built my Home to have a separate place for the computers and the TV - thus to separate my work [and the TV from the kids :P] and it works very well.
