Candidate is a stretch. Even the secret service doesn't care about the people who say they're going to run. They start caring after the primaries. Literally anybody can declare their candidacy. GOP has 15 so far, I think.

could order secret service protection for Trump, if he wanted. Too bad for Trump that he has pissed on Obama so many times.
