Not unless you have a family history (like me). Normally 50 is the age at which men should start getting it checked. The preferred way to check these days is with a blood test and THEN if the PSA level is high the doc does the digital check.
Early detection is important, but they've found that testing before 50 isn't necessary. There are other conditions that are far less life threatening and getting a biopsy in a panic is a bad idea when an antibiotic is all you need.
