It sounds horrible but it is the ONLY way to keep them safe from them hurting themselves again, especially with leg injuries. doesn't mean you don't let them out here and there but if you are not with him he will be safer in there until the inflammation goes down. As complicated as fixing a knee injury on a dog is, it is even harder to repair it a second time... and expensive.
