Private has a market cap of less than half a mill. AFF/Penthouse IPO was a disaster and I believe they were kicked off the exchanges.
I would not invest in any porn company which is publicly traded, although I think many adult companies are still good private investments.
Most funds can't invest in anything adult. Much of this is because the extremely powerful CALPERS pension fund has a policy against adult. If most institutional investors can't buy, then a stock is limited in what multiple it can achieve. Doesn't matter what your strategy is or how awesome the balance sheet and income statement and growth rate are because adult stock is artificially deflated.
Any porn company which chooses to IPO, especially in the US, is just demonstrating that it's leadership doesn't understand the market or thinks the PR is worth the bother.
