They're crumbling under the weight of management greed.
They typically get rid of their good, seasoned employees. But keep their new, lowest-paid, suck-at-their-jobs-and-dont-give-a-fuck employees. This saves them about 15 cents per hour, per employee. Doesn't sound like much, but it adds up day after day, month after month.
The money saved goes directly to management's bonus checks, who are already ridiculously overpaid compared to the employees. But you know, greed by definition can never satisfied.
So yeah, let them go belly-up. They did it to themselves. Would you like fries with that?
