Rick rolls into town. Tells the folks they need to prepare. They are out of their element. It's time to wake up. Many want him dead, formerly peaceful people, want Rick dead. Others just want him to go away. Say he's insane. Rick keeps fighting anyway. Trying to show them the way.
Sure, Rick goes to the quarry and unleashes a beast, but it was going to happen anyway. That powder keg was going to blow. He tried getting ahead of it when it was still a possibility.
Town is invaded by psychos wanting to kill everyone in sight. Ricks crew saves the day. Ricks crew is asked to lead on.
