look, i get it, we're all (developed nations) are supposed to chip-n cash to pay for green infrastructure in the 3rd world. we won't reach the goal if that doesn't happen is the logic, sure, fine.
but as you point out, Canada's action on curbing global warming has been abysmal/non-existent, including reneging on the kyoto protocol.
But instead of trudeau announcing that Canada is back and here's what we're doing to curb OUR emissions, he announces you're just gonna give billions to some other countries and hope they curb THEIR emissions, adding to that hypocrisy, trudeau is giving out huge dollars all while your economy is in seriously rough shape, with the future looking very sketchy. it's just like the very first thing he did upon entering the office was call BO and renege on Canada's commitment to eradicating isis.
