OK, here is the thing. People are stupid. With marketing you can sell ice to eskimos (yes I know racist but it's an old saying and therefore exempt).
Hoverboard is a misnomer clearly as they do not actually do that as it is impossible (with today's technology anyway) BUT they are popular due to the marketing efforts of these companies.
It is laughable seeing people riding on these and yes, even more laughable seeing them fall OFF of the things.
