That's what the voters want. Otherwise they wouldn't vote for these morons.
Michigan is considered a blue state in presidential elections, however I wouldn't doubt the republicans gained complete control of that state because of "Blacklash." Add that to the fact that democrats are notorious for not showing up to the polls for local and state elections. People are simple minded, and I wouldn't doubt they just stayed home thinking the state was blue and Obama was already president.

People who only vote in presidential elections are fucking idiots, when its local and state elections that affect their livelihood the most.
