Trump changed his registered party affiliation and declared himself a Republican? Bernie Sanders was elected many times as an independent. Now all of a sudden, Sanders changes his registered party affiliation and declared himself a Democrat? Trump and Sanders might have 30% each of the popular vote representation -- that is 60% of the voters, regardless of their respective positions, saying that the Republican and Democrat party's regulars do not have their support -- that is a majority of voters

American politics is like an adversarial court system. We bicker back and forth, rarely finding common ground and get little accomplished with the exception of military spending and starting wars and ''mini'' wars.

Bottom line: Both Trump and Sanders are pseudo party affiliates for reasons of convince.
