The govt. didn't "think" a video caused it. They KNEW what had happened.
That email from Hillary to Chelsea the very night of the attack even said that the FACT that it was a terrorist attack was problematic because they were only 56 days away from the election between Romney and Obama.
Which makes it clear that their decision to lie and say it was a "video" was based on not giving Romney any ammunition in the campaign against Obama (Obama had announced a few months earlier that Al Queda was pretty much finished...and then the attack was an Al Queda group which would have made him look bad).
AGAIN...what if that had been YOUR wife or son or daughter. And you had Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton at a casket ceremony handing YOU the flag and then lying to your face about what really happened???
Would you be so quick to justify that lying woman under those circumstances?

That was a really stupid decision, if that was what happened. Every president seems to want to manage facts around war, rather than be honest. Some more than others. Iraq cost 2 trillion and thousands of lives to usher in ISIS. We all know Saddam didn't have WOMD. "Islam is great" is another lie. If they were christian fundamentalists chopping heads I'd say the same thing. No militant religion is good, period.
If what you say above did happen, what should Clinton have done? Should she have gone public and exposed the administration's lies, and resigned?
