The referendum will be decided on.

A) The present. How many are better off from being in for the last 15 years. This is a big card for the OUT side. Most are worse off. Lower wages, less decent jobs, higher rents or house prices and worsening services.

B) The Future. Are they happy to see the present trends continue? More competition for everything that concerns their lives. The loss of political power so other countries can make laws that suit them and detrimental the Brits.

After the vote, either way. The EU is on probation. It will prove that half of the voters are very unhappy with it. Assuming it's not a massive landslide for the IN side. If theEU carries on screwing with voters, it will see more referendums.

Should the EU get all its demands, more Europeans will be asking why can't they get the same deal?

Should the EU not give the UK all of its demands. Cameron is finished along with the rest of those supporting the IN side.

The real problem is Fortress EU. It's clear the EU wants to raise barriers with the UK and make life harder for themselves. They threaten to lower EU sales, reducing intelligence on crime, terrorism, migration to the UK of qualified people, and more. Listening to the IN side. It becomes clear the EU will make it harder for their economy to punish Britain for wanting OUT of a political union that benefits no one, except those who are unwilling to talk with their neighbors.
