outlook is the same as always in life...2 steps forward, 1 step back. then there will be a few generations of 2 steps back, 1 step forward...its a theme throughout civilized history.
this particular era looks much worse due to a media that makes money sensationalizing every conflict between everyone. when people earn their first million, the media doesnt cover.
so whether your life, & your outlook, is good or bad is largely defined by your attitudes & behaviors. not what a cop does 1000 miles away. (but dont tell that to liberals, they will look at you funny, call you racist)
