Galleries. Still a thing or in decline ? Question for Affiliate Reps.
I've noticed a number of programs have either stopped updating their FHGs or worse dropped them completely.
Are FHGs and Affiliate Content still relevant ?
Surely the blog ecosystem is still important to the affiliate landscape for programs, or is the vision to just supply banners for people to put on their cookie cutter tube sites ?
Pimproll recently changed to NATS and there is no affiliate picture content or FHGs available, although to be fair Glenn says that it's in the pipeline at some undetermined time in the future.
A few of the larger programs are still churning out FHGs but the rate is declining.
Are we heading to a point where the only content programs will make available to us is banners ? Seems short sighted. There's already saturation when it comes to embedded tube sites and tube search sites. Picture sharing sites like Smutty and Sex.com rely on user uploaded content and almost none of it is affiliate content - but these sites are running lots of banners.
Where are things heading ? Is your program committed to FHGs and affiliate content ? Or is it all too hard now ?
