The individual shootings in the US don't stem from the same motive, they stem from different motives.

The problem with the islamic extremists is that they're all doing it as part of missionary work (ie "pertaining to or connected with religious missions"), which is the unifiying theme of all of their massacres and shootings (here's the list if you're interested, its pretty long https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...rorist_attacks ).

What I think is OneHungLo is saying is that it's obvious there's a problem with Islamic ideology, as it's behind all these massacres. You can't say the same with American ideology; the US Constitution and Bill of Rights didn't motivate anyone to shoot someone else (unless it's war, which is regulated by the Constitution).
