Remember Brexit? Betting played a huge part in the propaganda of the 'Remain' side (the same establishment that is pro Clinton) because betting is huge in the UK.
So they pumped about 80 million pounds in biggest betting site Betfair on 'Remain', rigging the odds for Leave 10 to 1. Which led to alot of people believing actual people bet on Remain, that's why the vote for 'Leave' came as a surprise. Pure propaganda, which luckily failed in the end.
These same powers are at work now for the presidential race. It's all complete bullshit, you can't trust anything anymore - news, polls, etc. You can bet on it that the real numbers are still at least 50/50.
