And you expect that a nation WITHOUT a huge supply of a limited and ceaselessly sought after commodity would make a better example? The oil reserves made Venezuela supposedly immune to the vagaries of socialism. Nation with large oil exports are considered lucky! The point is even with Venezuela's huge supply of oil, they still can't manage to have a working economy because of socialism.
