During those times I had to learn selling, advertising, and marketing. Across different businesses. Clothing, office furniture, advertising and porn. The same rules apply with a little adaptation. Webmasters can only hang onto "The Internet is different" and "You don't understand how online marketing works"
Other than dumping the maximum number of people onto a page and hoping someone behind that sites has a clue in selling, advertising, and marketing. There's no difference. With recorded porn traffic doesn't equal maximum dollars.
Webcam models on certain sites offer an indication to where they earn the better. They're not like a free tube clip, they want to earn money and free to choose where's best.
I see someone here trying to defend not adapting to a new market place.
